We started out wild and free, imaginative and curious. When we were children, we dreamt dreams and wondered with wide open eyes. One day we were young and full of hope for the life set before us, and the next thing we know, we are all grown up living in a reality that blooms far less vibrantly than those wild dreams once demonstrated. Difficult situations seem to pop up daily like weeds in the garden. And some might shrug and say,“Yep, that’s life. Welcome to the real world, kid.” But the truth is, your colorful vision still lingers deep within your spirit. Your dream still tugs on the hem of your jacket. The dream didn’t go away. You did. Expectations formed and the culture around you did what cultures do— it molded you to fit in.
Your dreams still tug for attention. Your wondrous childlike spirit still exists— it’s you, but full of trust and hope and belief. A life of vivid purpose and great potential is calling. Can you hear it? It’s the call of the wild.
We were made for more… so much more than culture alone will lead us to believe. We were not all made to look the same and live the same, but rather, to each live uniquely distinct and fulfilling lives of purpose. We were not meant to answer to anxiety’s whispers, nor were we created to live in “survival mode”. Not only are we made for more, we were made for abundantly more Color and Light, Joy, Peace, and Freedom— just to skim the surface. The truest part of you knows this, and it’s why you aren’t comfortable living outside of the more.
